"My Adventure Profile" Quiz ...
Don't forget to take your Adventure Profile Quiz ... a simple set of questions that will help to tell you which of our many trips and tours is just right for you.
Thank you ...
2008 was our best year ever! We were thrilled that you chose to share a day with us, and we look forward to seeing you and your friends for a day, a weekend or a week in 2009. We're already getting ready for the season, and we look forward to hearing from you again soon.
Lehigh Dam Release Plan Updated ...
The Lehigh River dam release plan has been tweaked again for 2009, making it more predictable and reliable than ever. Water releases at the Lehigh River will begin on Mother's Day Weekend; then Memorial Weekend; then skip two weekends; and then resume on June 13-14, continuing on alternating weekends until the middle of October. Releases are expected to attract over 100,000 visitors to the Lehigh Gorge State Park this year!
NY Rivers Set to Offer High-Adventure Outings ...
Our rafting centers in New York offer trips on the Hudosn, Black, Moose and Salmon Rivers. These are great outings, ranging from easy Class II whitewater to the kind of hang-on-to-your-hats Class V action you often see on TV. Ask our reservationists to recommend an adventure just right for you and your group!
What's next ...
After a great day on the river, we're often asked "what's the next step?"
We enjoy answering this question, because there are so many great choices...
* a highwater Spring trip on the Lehigh (Class III)
* a summertime Hudson River Gorge trip (Class III+)
* a summertime Black River Canyon trip (Class III/IV)
* a springtime Hudson Gorge trip (Class IV)
* a springtime Black River trip (Class IV+)
Or, for more Class II/III alternatives, a summertime visit to ...
* the middle Moose River, Old Forge, NY
* the Salmon River, Pulaski, NY
We look forward to hearing from you, and helping you and your friends pick the perfect "next trip."
Hope to see you on the river this year!
Yours in adventure,
All the crew at
